Carl Hasenyager Jr. (89) of Nampa December 25, 1930 - August 28, 2020 Carl was born December 25, 1930 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Carl and Clara Hasenyager. Carl passed away August 28, 2020 at a local hospital. The family moved to Idaho in 1936, living first in Meridian and later north of Nampa in the Franklin Community where his parents farmed. Carl attended Franklin School north of Nampa. Carl met Vivian Ward of Meridian at a Meridian High basketball game when he gave her and her 2 girlfriends a ride home. A year later they started dating and were married on February 14, 1952. They moved to Spokane, WA where Carl was stationed in the Army. While in Spokane their son Glen was born. After 2 years they returned to the Nampa area where their son Bill and daughter Gina were born. During his lifetime Carl hauled milk, farmed, worked at Idaho Animal Products in Nampa, Idaho Meat Packers in Caldwell and milked cows for a dairy. Carl is survived by his children: Glen and Ruth Hasenyager of Meridian, Bill and Michelle Hasenyager and Gina and Tom Muncy all of Nampa; his Grandchildren: Shon and Greg Hasenyager both of Kuna, Jackie and Ryan Hasenyager both of Nampa, Josh Muncy of Coeur d'Alene, ID, Caleb Muncy of Phoenix, AZ, Isaac Muncy of Moscow, ID and Jacob Muncy of Boise. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Vivian, in May of 2019; and by his parents. Graveside services will be held at Meridian Cemetery, 895 E Franklin Road, Meridian, Idaho on September 3, 2020 at 2:00 PM. Services under the direction of Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa, Idaho.
