Beverly Joan Sprague

Beverly Joan "BJ" Sprague died August 9, 2022 in Nampa, Idaho. She was born June 8, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to William Clyde and Alice Rose Kaecker Andrews. Beverly went to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Nursing fit her personality. She was so loving and had a kind heart. Even though she had retired as a nurse, she was always helping the nurses at the Meadow View Nursing and Rehab where she lived during the latter part of her life. Beverly loved to play Bingo there and would help get the other residents to the activity so they could all play together. She would take the residents on walks and even make sure that they made it down to the cafeteria. She loved the flowers that were planted at Meadow View and made sure great care was given to those beautiful flowers. Her favorite flower however, was the carnation. Beverly loved to paint. Many of her oil paintings were impressionist and nature scenes. Most recently she loved to paint wildlife, especially quail. She loved birds. She especially loved the birds that were outside her window at Meadow View and would somehow arrange to have bird seed on hand to feed them. Easter was her favorite holiday along with family BBQ's. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and there were many! She had 5 sons, 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She has left a great legacy.
