Sheryl Ann Bauer

Sheryl Ann Bauer, 59, passed peacefully in her home on the morning of Sunday, July 16, 2017 with her husband Tom by her side. Sherry was raised in Central Point, Oregon by her parents George and Jeannie Clarke along with her three sisters: Rene, Gina & Dorey; her brother John; and adopted sister Peggy. Her grandparents George and Doris Stewart generally lived with or very near them and were very involved. The family was active in 4H and worked together in their restaurants. Sherry graduated from Crater High in 1975 and received her cosmetology license in 1983. She returned to school in 2003 and graduated at the top of her class; earning her pharmacy technician certification. Sherry cherished her life and her only regret was that she had been preceded in death by her sister Renee, mother and grandparents. Though she wanted more time with them, it encouraged her to make every moment count and she taught us to live life to the fullest: to laugh often and love deeply. Her greatest joy was spending the last twenty years with her soulmate Tom and their children--they shared her two sons Andrew and Andre Leamons and his daughter Caity Jo. She forged endearing memoires with and for us all: dad (daddy), his parents Ron and Joann, her siblings, his brother and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, numerous nephews and nieces, and a multitude of friends. Sherry made fun happen. She loved to travel and treasured those experiences--from big things like skydiving and kissing the dolphins to small things like strolling on a beach and soaking in a sunset. She even made mundane things like work and shopping fun...just a laugh made one's day. She always felt blessed to share life with those around her. Sherry is survived by her immediate and extended family which includes each and every person she called a friend. With native pride, she leaves us with the quote from "A Blackfoot Prayer": "Do not think of me as gone, I am with you still, you will hear my laugh on the wings of eagles." (seagulls) Tom will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 22 at 10:00 a.m. until the laughs stop. Their home is located at 1710 Cashew Court in Nampa. Bring a main or side dish, drink, chair and your memories.
