Kuna, Idaho
Life & Legacy
Tennille Arlene Cox, 48, of Kuna, Idaho, passed away peacefully at home on November 26, 2025, surrounded by her husband and children after a brief but courageous battle with renal cell carcinoma.
Born on July 5, 1977, in Riverside, California, to David and Pamela Garcia, Tennille grew up alongside her sister Vannessa. She graduated from La Sierra High School and went on to attend Riverside Community College, where she began cultivating the thoughtful, compassionate spirit that would define her life.
Marriage & Family
On November 22, 2008, Tennille married the love of her life, Charles Cox. Their story spanned 37 years of friendship and 17 years of marriage, a bond grounded in deep friendship, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Together they raised two daughters, Abigail and Amelia, who were—and will always remain—the greatest joys of her life.
A fiercely loving mother, Tennille built her home on faith, warmth, and quiet strength. She nurtured her family with patience, creativity, and a deep sense of purpose, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever guide her husband and daughters.
Service & Purpose
Tennille lived a life of service, compassion, and community. For more than 15 years, she worked as a care provider for mentally disabled women—serving with empathy, patience, and respect. Later, she became a small business owner, founding Social Insight Media Services, and also served as Chairwoman of “We Remember: A Night for Veterans,” a nonprofit supporting homeless veterans in California’s Inland Empire.
After relocating to Idaho in 2021, Tennille continued her lifelong commitment to service through the Kuna Seventh-day Adventist Church. There, she helped organize outreach programs, community events, and a Christmas cookie drive that brought in thousands of homemade treats for those in need—a tradition her church will continue in her honor.
Character & Spirit
Tennille was, at heart, an introvert—quiet, thoughtful, and deeply intentional in her relationships. She chose her circle carefully, but once she called someone a friend, her loyalty was boundless. She was known for her kindness, frugality, creative generosity, and an uncanny ability to appear exactly when someone needed her most.
She loved stargazer lilies, thoughtful conversation, and quiet moments with family and friends. Her strength, humor, and gentle grace were ever-present, even in her final days. To those who knew her best, she was a constant light—a reminder that quiet souls often shine the brightest.
