Life & Legacy
Beverly Lou (Corgatelli) Crawford, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on the 9S Ranch on October 30, 2025, surrounded by the land and family she loved.

Born on January 26, 1949, to Louis and Gwen Corgatelli, Bev grew up in the Darlington area of the Lost River Valley, a place that remained the heart of her life.

Early Life & Education
Bev attended Mackay Elementary and Jr/Sr High School, proudly supporting the Mackay Miners throughout her life. She was active in band, drill team, and countless school activities.

After high school, she attended Idaho State University in Pocatello, where she joined the swim and dive team and earned her Bachelor’s Degree. While at ISU, she met the love of her life, Harry Crawford. The two were married in Mackay, Idaho, on November 26, 1971, and soon began a lifetime of love and partnership.

Life on the Ranch
In 1975, Bev and Harry took a leap of faith and returned to Darlington, purchasing part of her father’s ranch so he could retire. Over time, they built a thriving operation with Hereford, Angus, and dairy cattle. Bev worked side by side with Harry, embracing ranch life with determination and joy.

She loved horses and raised many foals that became excellent ranch horses. Each of her children had their own, and Bev spent countless hours watching them learn, compete, and grow. Later in life, she fulfilled a personal dream—purchasing her own horse and riding proudly alongside her family.

Teaching & Artistry
Bev was a gifted artist and educator, with her paintings displayed throughout Idaho. Her creativity and passion for teaching shaped countless lives.

She taught swimming lessons every summer while raising her children and later fulfilled her mother’s dream for her to become a teacher. Returning to Idaho State University, Bev earned her Teaching Certificate and eventually a Master’s Degree in Education.

For more than 30 years, she taught second grade at Mackay Elementary School, where her compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for learning inspired generations of students. She believed deeply in the power of education, hard work, and creativity—and she lived those principles every day.

Family
Bev is survived by her devoted husband, Harry Crawford; her children Becky (Jared) Crapo, Tony (Tai) Crawford, and Brian Crawford; and her cherished granddaughters, Aralynn Kay Crapo (Ryan) Dransfield and Emersynn Sage Crapo.

She is also survived by her loving sisters Sharon (Corgatelli) Smith, Charlotte (Corgatelli) Shearer, Debbie (Corgatelli) Griffin, and Kathy (Corgatelli) Neville; her stepsisters Janie (Burt) Secrist, Kathy (LaJohn) Morgan, and Deanie (Dave) Martino; and brothers-in-law Gary Smith, Bud Shearer, Rick Neville, Ronald Crawford, and Don (Leona) Crawford. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents, Gwen and Louis Corgatelli; stepmother Adell Corgatelli; stepsister Betty Weaver; in-laws Hazel and Harlan Crawford; sister-in-law Toni Crawford; and brothers-in-law Blair Arnold and Karl Griffin.
